Your mug is not just a cup it is a small part of our life. It can be there for our happiest moments, our quiet evenings, and even our darkest days. Filled with hot chocolate, tea, or coffee, it keeps us warm and keeps us company through our everyday journey. Come and create a mug that feels truly yours in our warm and creative mug painting workshop. Bring your own mug or take a recycled mug from Virta and give it a new personality. When you’re finished, you can take your creation home with you, or leave it at Virta and use it as your very own private mug whenever you visit. At the second group meeting after creating a mug to keep us company, why not create something pretty and handy? In this cozy and creative workshop, you can paint your very own glass jar for storing small items or, for example, as a candle holder. You can make the jar for yourself or as a gift for a friend. Klo 12-16 D&D -roolipeliryhmä
Tervetuloa pelaamaan Dungeons and Dragons -roolipeliä kanssamme! Tässä ryhmässä on roolipelaamisesta kiinnostuneille mahdollisuus päästä kokeilemaan legendaarista D&D-roolipeliä. D&D:ssä seikkaillaan fantasiamaailmassa, jossa pelaajat pääsevät roolipelaamalla vaikuttamaan pelin kulkuun pelinjohtajan luomassa ympäristössä, joten rohkeasti mukaan! Kohtalainen englannin kielen taito tarvitaan, koska pelin säännöt ovat englanniksi, mutta itse pelaaminen toteutetaan ihan kotoisasti suomeksi. Pelit aloitetaan 3. tason hahmolla, jonka voi halutessaan suunnitella valmiiksi jo ennen ryhmään tuloa. Ilmoittaudu mukaan samuel.uotila@sosped.fi. Ryhmään mahtuu viisi henkilöä. Klo 13.30-15.30 Zinet ja minivihkot
Zine syntyy helposti paperiarkista taittelemalla ja sen sisällön suhteen vain luovuus on rajana. Ryhmästä löytyy taitteluohjeet ja pieni lista ideoita sekä iso liuta inspiroivia materiaaleja. Syysiltojen alkaessa pimetä ryhmän ehdotusmuotoisena teemana on kauhu ja Halloween, mutta myös muunlaisia zinejä saa vapaasti tehdä. Zinejä ja vihkosia on myös mahdollista jättää pajalle muiden selailtavaksi. Halloween-teemapäivää varten voisimme kerätä pienen karmivan kirjahyllyn kauhuteemaisista zineistä, mikäli innostusta löytyy. Ateljee.
Klo 14-16 Cozy Book Club
Welcome to the “Cozy Book Club”! First in the beginning of the group we will get to know new books and talk about what fascinates us about reading. The topics for the two days are “autumn” (2.10.) and “strength” (23.10.). If possible, please bring the book(s) you want to share with the others or if you don’t have the book bring with you, you can prepare some notes about plot, topics, what you like about it. If you want, you can read a passage (in Finnish or English).
The second half of the group focuses on creative writing to the specific topic. It can be poetry, journaling, short stories, or anything else. There won’t be any ‘teaching’ or rules, and you don’t need to have experience. The workshop aims at tapping into our joy for literature, our inspiration and intuition. There will be paper and pens, but feel free to bring your own notebook. Two gatherings: 2.10. & 23.10. Ulappa.
